Looking for inspiration for assignment 4, 'real or fake' has led me to look at the work of Eric Johansson, a Swedish photographer. His work combines extreme manipulation with pure fantasy. A favourite of mine is the 'drifting away' image, in the following video he talks through the process he goes through to achieve such incredible results:
