Assignment 2 - reflective summary
Part two - Digital image qualities
For this part of the course and having no prior technical knowledge, I learned a great deal from all sections of this part of the course, histograms and how to use them to evaluate the light in an image, how shadows can change, improve, ruin an image, what to look for to produce a decent image.
An area I'd not heard of or considered previously is that of dynamic range, I found this an interesting part of this section of the course, and a useful skill to develop as I progress.
I especially enjoyed my charisurio attempt from being inspired by the work of Keith Arnatt, I incorporated this into my assignment and put together a photo-shoot using directional lighting in a darkened room, the subjects were discarded dog toys, which I hope were brought back to life, all be it for a brief moment.
The only problems I encountered really were the weather and not being able to get out as much as I'd liked.
