Exercise: scene dynamic range




In this image the dynamic range is from the shadow in the top left of the image and the boy tying his laces but also there is a shadow cast across the group stood eating food.

For this exercise I needed to find images with a variety of dynamic range and to measure the brightest and darkest areas. All of the notes for these images are kept in a notebook and will be added in due course.

This image has a very obvious and strong dynamic range

This image has the dark shadow from the building top right contrasting with the stone building in the top left of the frame, the people in the image add interest to the image and have a variety of bright and dark depending on where they are standing.
