If I were to summarize what I've learned in Part one - Workflow, I'd say 'an awful lot!', from having only a basic technical background in photography before starting this part I found some of the exercised quite challenging, for example the use of RAW, which I'm now starting to get to grips with. Organisation of my work on the computer has proven to be a vital skill to learn, as to my own expense and frustration, not being able to find an image you know is 'somewhere' isn't helpful when short of time to search.
I started to use Light Room alongside Photoshop Elements in this section, by the end I was starting to prefer LR, but there is a great deal to learn to use at even a basic level. Having said that, my confidence is growing slowly with this unfamiliar software.
All in all, technical progress made and an enjoyable start to the course.
